Fear as a Gatekeeper: What Winning the Bold & Unstoppable Confidence Award Taught Me
Fear is a Wise Gatekeeper…
Recently, I received an incredible honor:
I was awarded the “Bold & Unstoppable Confidence Award” by International Confidence Month.
Even writing that still feels surreal.
What made it especially meaningful is that the nomination came from a client of mine — someone who chose to remain anonymous — who shared how profoundly our shamanic healing work had impacted their life. They spoke about how it helped them tap into a level of confidence they had never experienced before.
As someone who dedicates my life to helping others reclaim their energy, their confidence, and their purpose, this kind of reflection means everything to me.
But here’s what I want you to know…
I’m still human.
And I still face fear.
Fear that asks:
❓“Will this actually work?”
❓“Can I really help people in the way I hope?”
❓“Will my message ever reach the people who need it?”
These fears aren’t unfamiliar. In fact, I believe most of us wrestle with them in some form, especially when we’re about to take a big leap — whether it’s starting a new chapter, launching a dream, or stepping into a more authentic version of ourselves.
Over the years, I’ve come to see fear not as a stop sign, but as a gatekeeper.
It stands at the edge of change — not to block us, but to test our readiness.
If I had listened to the fear that said “you’re not ready” or “what if this doesn’t help anyone?” — I wouldn’t have continued. I wouldn’t have done the deep work. And I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to support the incredible clients I’ve worked with.
But I didn’t stop.
I chose to move with the fear.
To learn from it.
To let it fuel me instead of freeze me.
And now, not only do I get to witness the transformation in others — I get to experience the ripple effect of that courage every single day.
So I want to ask you:
What fears are standing at the threshold of your next chapter?
What stories are they telling you?
And what might shift if, instead of letting them stop you, you chose to walk through the door anyway?
Fear will always show up when something matters.
But we don’t have to let it decide the outcome.
If you’re feeling stuck in fear, low in confidence, or unsure of your next step — please know: you’re not alone. And there are tools that can help you find your way forward.
The same healing work that helped me (and many others) build confidence, clarity, and energy alignment is available to you too. If you feel called, I’d love to connect and talk about how we can work together.
My door is always open.
You can reach out anytime — I’ll include a link here if you’d like to schedule a chat.
Here’s to listening to the fear… and choosing to move anyway.
Here’s to becoming bold, unstoppable, and fully aligned with your power.
