CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation will result in a total loss of the $750 USD retainer. Cancellations made between March 1st and September 15th will result in a loss of 50% of the trip price. Any cancellation made between September 16th and the trip departure will result in a total loss of funds. We reserve the right to cancel the trip if it is not meeting the trip minimum. (If we do so, you will be refunded in full.)

Should the exchange rate vary more than 5%, the price will be subject to change. Trip cancellation insurance is always recommended whenever making travel plans. You can use our suggested Travel Guard Insurance online and choose from several policy options.

If we find that the trip is not a good fit for you, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation, in which case your payments will be fully refunded.

Our VIP mountain cabin is located at the top of the property featuring gorgeous views of the forest covered mountains. This cabin is spacious and secluded for extra privacy and was built as the honeymoon suite. It features 1 king sized bed a private deck, a fireplace for cozy nights as well as a soaking tub with beautiful views. Ideal for a couple looking romantic getaway with extra privacy.

Your Flights

Please book your flight to arrive at the San Jose (Juan Santamaria) International Airport. The airport code is SJO on January 25th 2026 before 2:00 pm, and to depart on January 31st after 1:30 pm.

Our private ground transportation will depart from SJO domestic airport at 2:00PM on the arrival day of your retreat, January 25th. Please account for time to go through customs and immigration. This process can take as little as 15 min and as much as 2.5 hours depending on the day at the airport and how busy it is. After you exit the airport we will have a representative waiting for you with a sign, and the representative will guide you to the domestic terminal where you will wait with the rest of your group for departure at 2:00PM.

The retreat begins in the afternoon of the 25th, so make sure to schedule your flight accordingly. If at all possible, don’t miss the creation of our sacred space on the evening of the 25th. We will be closing this space on the morning of the 31st, so do plan to stay for the entire experience we have prepared for you.

You will depart Verdesana at 9:00AM, and the estimated arrival to SJO international airport is 11:00AM. Typically, it is suggested to be at the international terminal 2.5 hours prior to your international departure. Please book your departing international flight accordingly, knowing that you will be at the airport at 11:00AM on departure day (so anytime after 1:30 pm is strongly recommended to fly out of SJO.

COVID-19 Information

Your safety is very important to us! We will adhere to all COVID-19 travel requirements at the time of travel and will keep you informed of any updates.

There are no requirements for vaccination or masks on this retreat at the time of this writing (March 2025), but you’re always welcome to wear a mask if you like.
